Naturally Dyed Aunt Eliza Star Quilt
This quilt top is machine pieced, but the quilt is hand stitched together; the baptist fan pattern was done using a big stitch style. The thread used to stitch the quilt is light grey and is a heavier weight cotton thread. The quilt top is a repeating Aunt Eliza quilt block made with naturally dyed linen and cotton fabrics. The batting is wool and the back is unbleached cotton. The dimensions are 52”x 42”.
