Naturally Dyed Indigo Polkadot Bandana
This bandana was first stamped with an iron mordant paint before dyeing it with indigo. The iron mordant reacts with the indigo to deepen the shade of the polkadots, creating a contrast between the two shades of blue, finally revealing the stamped pattern. This particular bandana has a sun faded look to it. It measures 24”x 24” prior to preparing it for the dyeing process.
