Quilted Canvas Tote Bag
Both the exterior and interior of this handmade canvas tote bag is made from a heavy weight canvas. The interior has a generous pocket that is divided into two sections. The bag measures 15” wide and 18” long. The straps are 1 1/2” cotton webbing, and measures 17” from the top of the bag to the top of the strap.
The fabric to make the quilt blocks have been naturally dyed and machine pieced. They have been secured to the bag with a baptist fan stitch pattern using a heavier weighted thread. The edges have been appliqued.
Both the exterior and interior seams, as well as the straps, have been reinforced with another row of stitching.
